The Story of Jane

It all began in the backseat of an Uber, during a ride in 2017 when a thought sparked: "Jane’s Roots…that'd be a really great name for a band,” I thought.

My middle name, Jane, was special to me, so from that moment, "Jane's Roots" stuck.

About a year later, I designed the "Jane's Roots" website, to showcase my photography portfolio—my primary focus back then. But as I ventured into drawing and painting courses in college, the concept became more expansive.

My creative exploration grew beyond photography, leading me on a self-taught journey through Adobe Creative Suite. The pandemic gave me the chance to delve deeper into graphic design.

In 2020, I launched the "Jane's Roots" Instagram account—an outlet for sharing my creations and, eventually, a platform for selling my designs, signing each piece as my new pseudonym “Jane”.

Throughout my 20’s, design has always found a way into my life. It has been my constant companion.

Driven by my creativity and desire to tell stories through branding and design, "Jane's Roots" is more than a name—it's a catalyst that ignited my journey into the world of design.
